I really like the idea behind these. It is somewhat comical. I hate the way animals are treated at the circus, so I see these as commenting on the question "What if people were treated like animals?" and vice-versa. I especially like the bottom one, because it reminds me of a Beatles album cover. I would suggest increasing the contrast a bit, though. The first one looks very eerie.
